Where to use the Counting Room Vault Key

The Counting Room Vault is inside Heavenly Luck Casino on Hajin. Stay on the ground floor: the door is reached through a room with computers and cash-counting equipment, rather than by searching the upper hotel floors. The reviewed Tac-Map places the casino area in F4, beside Cheongun Village.

At the correct door, the gameplay prompt names “HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO COUNTING ROOM” and offers an Unlock interaction. This named prompt is a better final check than stopping at any locked room in the casino. The route below starts at the front entrance; if you enter elsewhere, first orient yourself in the main lobby.

How to get a Counting Room Vault Key

GamesRadar’s current MW4 DMZ guide reports the Counting Room Vault Key as a reward for completing the Silent Ledger story mission. If you have just finished that mission, inspect your recovered items and reward screen, then check the key’s exact name and description before preparing a casino run.

This location walkthrough begins with the matching key available. It does not establish a guaranteed enemy drop, a fixed container spawn or a repeatable key-farming method. Finding the building and carrying the right key are separate checks; a different casino key should not be assumed to open this door.

Ground-floor route from the front entrance

Bring the matching key in the loadout you will actually deploy with, then locate Heavenly Luck Casino on the current Tac-Map. On arrival, check the surroundings before entering: the reviewed footage includes hostile AI inside the building, and other Operators can also be using the casino.

From the front entrance, follow this sequence. The GamesRadar directions describe the turns, while the gameplay footage shows the lobby, computer-filled room and named counting-room door.

  • Enter through the casino’s main front doors and stay on the ground floor.
  • Turn right into the corridor with the caged or barred areas.
  • Before continuing into the main slot-machine area, take the door on the left into the room with computers.
  • Clear the room and go to the double wooden doors at its far end. Check the Counting Room name on the interaction before using your key.

Identify the door, unlock it and inspect the loot

The reviewed frame shows double wooden doors beside a wall-mounted keypad, at the end of the room. The visible “HEAVENLY LUCK CASINO COUNTING ROOM — UNLOCK” prompt identifies the destination. Use that interaction with the matching key, then open the doors and inspect the room.

The video shows cash among the contents inside. That observation describes this recorded run; it does not establish a fixed total payout or a guaranteed blueprint, recipe or other specific item. Check the actual loot before deciding what to carry out.

If the key or room seems wrong

Return to the visible labels before spending time searching the rest of the building. A grid identifies a search area, while the door’s own name confirms the destination. If the interaction fails despite a matching key, record its message; the reviewed sources do not provide a universal fix for a missing or rejected interaction.

Sources and verification

Reviewed October 22, 2026, against GamesRadar’s MW4 DMZ Counting Room article and Gamers Heroes’ October 20 video. Directly inspected frames show the current Hajin map at 0:00, the casino lobby at 0:20, the computer/counter room at 0:30, the named Unlock prompt at 0:34, the unlock sequence at 0:37 and cash inside at 0:45. The key reward is attributed to the article, rather than claimed as a directly observed mission completion.

This is a source-based location guide, not a first-hand playtest. The footage’s current Hajin map, DMZ Orders interface and Heavenly Luck Casino label establish the mode and setting; YouTube’s automatic game tag alone is not used as evidence.
